A friendly café in the heart of Bollington
We're independent, and everyone's welcome. Come in for a bacon butty, a full breakfast or one of our brunch plates from the open kitchen, with a proper coffee and a slice of something homemade. Nothing posh, nothing stuffy, just good food and a table waiting for you.

Proper butties, creative brunches, good coffee and homemade cake.
A proper butty
Barrow's bacon or sausage in a local bloomer. Nothing fancy, just done properly, to stay or to go.
Turkish eggs
Poached eggs, garlic yogurt and Aleppo chilli butter. Sourdough on the side.
Pancake stack
Fluffy pancakes with your choice of toppings.
Sticky harissa aubergine
Romesco hummus, pomegranate, feta and smoked almonds.
Origin coffee
Origin Resolute, double shot as standard. Stay a while or take it with you.
Homemade cakes
Freshly homemade cakes and bakes, with Thursdays set aside for our baking day.

Coffee, lunch & a little work
Got a few emails to catch up on, or meeting someone over lunch? Bring your laptop, hop on our Wi-Fi and make yourself comfortable. There's always another coffee or a proper lunch when you need one.
Fancy something stronger? We also serve beer, cider, wine, Prosecco, and a Bloody Mary or Mimosa.
How we do things
Proper local ingredients
- All of our meat is supplied by Barrow's Family Butcher.
- Our eggs are British & free range.
- Our sourdough & pastries are supplied by June at The Mill Bakehouse.
- Our bloomers are from Belfield's Bakery.
Thursday is baking day
We're closed on Thursdays for our baking day, getting plenty of homemade cakes and bakes ready for you.
